The Uglys

This well known band from Birmingham, active throughout most of the 60's - 80's under various Band names had ongoing personnel line-up changes that featured a list of members that reads almost like a who’s who of British music

In the late 50's they were known as the "Dimonettes", than in 1963 they became "The Uglys". By 1969 they became"The Balls" with little success as this group they became known as "The Steve Gibbon Band", in the early 70's, it was from here, that they became most famous and they sold many albums.
