As well as his solo work recording a couple of singles in 1971 and later his first album in 1982, Shorrock was part of "The Checkmates (au)" from 1962 later changing their name to the "The Twilights (au)" from 1964 to 1969 : "Axiom (au)" from 1969 to 1971 : "Esperanto Rock Orchestra (uk)" from 1973, the band formed in the UK had several Australian musicians, they were a supporting act to Cliff Richard in 1974 & lastly "The Little River Band" from 1975 to 1982.
